چکیده
The present work aimed to evaluate the efficiency of an agro-industrial waste biosorbent in removal real textile wastewater. A model sample with methylene blue and remazol golden yellow at equimolar proportions was prepared be treated natura, carbonized, activated lemon peel beads. Activated demonstrated superior capacity rates. Characterization analyses investigated morphology physico-chemical properties biomaterial. pH (2.0) dosage (1.6 g.L-1) studies were carried out select parameters for further studies. In kinetic assays, equilibrium reached faster than RNL. fitting indicated Elovich describe biosorption dye while pseudo-first-order fit best data. intraparticle diffusion that more one step may limit kinetics. treatment wastewater, 94.22% dyes attained after 360 minutes operation selected operational conditions. Kinetics adsorption wastewater presented considerable models R² greater 0.93. An artificial neural network developed satisfactory (R2 = 0.990).

Decolourization of wastewater from a textile plant by a marine Aspergillus niger was studied. The fungus was previously isolated from Gorgan Bay in the Caspian Sea. The kinetics of decolourization was studied by varying energy sources. The best decolourization was achieved when sucrose was used as source of carbon and energy. NH4+ ion was demonstrated to be the best nitrogen source. Color reduc...
متن کاملThe Study of Kinetic and Biosorption of Pb Ion by Rice Husk from Wastewater
An agricultural waste i.e. rice husk has been used as a cheap adsorbent for the removal ofleadas a harmful heavy metal from contaminated water via adsorption. The adsorption capacity of rice husk was calculated by equilibrium models. The results showed that the adsorption process has the best accordance with Langmuir model. The kinetics of the adsorption was also investigated and obtained that ...

Textile industry can be classified into three categories viz., cotton, woolen, and synthetic fibers depending upon the used raw materials. The cotton textile industry is one of the oldest industries in China. The textile dyeing industry consumes large quantities of water and produces large volumes of wastewater from different steps in the dyeing and finishing processes. Wastewater from printing...
